The band with the funny name was formed in 1970. This is like "national GS-team". When by 1970 success of Group Sounds was ended members of many GS bands were left with nothing. With their music they can't get more money as earlier, so the "Old Guards" were looking for output from the difficult situation.
In successful time on Japanese Polydor gathered together stars of ex-GS bands, who 2-3 years earlier were main musical faces in Japan. Among these musicians were vocalists Kenji Sawada (ex-The Tigers) and Kenichi Hagiwara (ex-The Tempters), drummer Hiroshi Oguchi (ex-The Tempters), guitarist Takayuki Inouye (ex-The Spiders), bassist Ittoku Kishibe (ex-The Tigers) and keyboardist Katsuo Ohno (ex-The Spiders).
Was formed, as it is believed in Japan, first super rock-band with the name PYG, which in August 1971 releaed self-titled album, but often named as "Original First Album". Mostly slow, plodding, vocal prog rock, with one decent guitar driven cut.
Includes the original version of 'Flower, Sun, Rain' which has been covered by Boris.
