The pianist Stéphane De May loves most of all to share things with everybody. To share his passion, his delicate and well thought-out touch, his sensitive personality, his sharp acumen for human contact.
Director of the Royal Conservatoire of Liège, he holds a teaching position in the piano classes at the Conservatoire of Rotterdam and at the HEMU of Sion in Switzerland. After his recommended recording (Fanfare, USA) of the Complete Nocturnes by Chopin, his meeting with pianist and conductor Jean-Bernard Pommier led to this recording of the two concertos.
These two brilliants concertos are then here performed by one virtuoso at the piano and one pianist conducting the internationally recognized Slovak Sinfonietta.
