This outstanding recording features the recently publish Carl Fischer edition of Debussy's immortal Sonata. The edition, for the first time, honors all of Debussy's original indications, many of which were omitted during the work's previous editions. Hat Trick also performs the rarely heard Dubois Terzettino, a composition which preceded Debussy's by a decade, and which is the earliest known piece for flute, viola and harp. In addition, Hat Trick plays works by Toru Takemitsu, Sofia Gubaidulina, and gives the world premiere recording of Miguel del Aguila's "Submerged", composed for Hat Trick.
