“Beyond The Far Shore” is taken from the forthcoming same named artist album. A high quality loungeism' with smooth jazz vibes and easy listening soulful 12 track artist album at it’s best. Mr. Octopus is a completely new project of trumpeter, composer and producer - Tim Gelo. He has already established himself in the Chill Out / Lounge / Downtempo scene with his project "Velvet Dreamer". The idea of the project Mr. Octopus was to combine electronic music with special and original analog sounds.
His mixture of syncopated beats, rendered vocals, a typical sampling and live instruments is seductive and is synthesized by the mediative qualities of repetition.

Through this playful exchange of styles, Mr. Octopus expresses a profound talent for innovation and alchemy. Mr. Octopus likes to bring tragedy and humor together and invites them to dance, the joy of dancing, longing and mystery at the same time. Tim Gelo is a sought-after classical and contemporary trumpet interpreter, arranger and composer. He has received awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Yamaha Trumpet Contest for his interpretation of contemporary music. In 2004 his song "Alles Was Du brauchst", sung by Kader Loth, entered the German Top 100 charts. With the band project "Jazzà-vu" he gave concerts at festivals all over the world in the 2000s. In 2013 Tim Gelo works on the studio project "Velvet Dreamer" (Chillout / Lounge) and releases the album "Last Kiss of Summer" with Lemongrassmusic. With already five "Velvet Dreamer" albums Tim attracts attention all over the world. In 2017 Tim Gelo founds the live band EVENT LOUNGERS. World-famous hits are presented in self-made lounge arrangements. Tim Gelo also produces pop songs and collaborates with artists from Moscow to New York. In addition to jazz and pop, Tim Gelo masters the classical repertoire, which includes solo recitals, chamber music and symphonic music. He is a welcome guest in many theatres and symphony orchestras in Germany
