AMG Review by Rob Bowman
The first Persuasions release, recorded live in Los Angeles. The sound is a little two-dimensional, but this recording captures the spirit of joy in live harmonizing, which is the very essence of The Persuasions. Includes great takes on The Temptations's "Don't Look Back" and The Drifters's "Up on the Roof," making manifest the intrinsic connection between '50s doo wop and '60s group singing.
