Paul McCartney - Oobu Joobu Part 4 (1995)

Paul put together a very interesting series with something for everyone.Even the songs which aren't Paul tracks are interesting,as they give us an insight as to the groups and music that influnced the Beatles,groups from the 1950's right up to the present.Linda's recipes are fun,with Paul making sound effects to go along with Lindas reading of the recipe.One note regarding that,on the above track listing for Linda's recipe on this CD,the recipe isn't "slappy jaws",as listed above,but it is "sloppy Joes".It is an American recipe.Basiclly a spicy chopped hamburger dish served on a hamburger bun.The sauce is mixed in a very loose consistancy,hence the name "Sloppy Joe".All I can say,is that it is an American thing,but they are very good,and on this CD Linda pres!ents her "veggie" version.As I said,I only have 4 of these discs so far,but if the rest are anything like the ones I have already,they will be a fun listen also.It is a big series but well worth adding to your Macca collection.
