Michael Fennelly - Stranger's Bed (1975)

This second solo album by Michael Fennelly could actually be better than his first, "Lane Changer". The songwriting, singing and guitar playing are all better. Interesting lyrics throughout and more varied guitar sounds than ever before. He has more control over his voice(from soft and sweet to roaring) and guitar solos. The real masterpiece here is the slow blues, "Sweet Pain", a sexually charged burner of a song. The vocals are right on and the guitar solo starts out soft and jazzy then goes into a loud, fuzzed out killer of a solo. Really, a very good album!~Michael W. Lewis
