These two albums are Cillas best studio albums.Cilla sings a rainbow from 1966 and Day by Day with Cilla from 1973. They compliment each other very well with the dramatic 60s tracks and the more laid back from the 70s. Her voice on these albums is fantastic and proves why she was the best selling female singer of the 60s.

Day by Day with Cilla was her final Parlophone album with Sir George Martin and shows the changing music scene of the early 70s. This series of original albums on Cherry Red Records has made all her EMI Lps available on cd for the first time, it's been a long wait but they have done a fantastic job.Well done to all involved.
