Akira Ishikawa, a drummer who played a part in the development of jazz rock in Japan. Although many works have been left, the 70th recording, Baximba: Memories of Africa, has a special presence due to its content and rarity. With the help of up-and-coming musicians such as Hiromasa Suzuki, Norio Maeda, Ken Muraoka and Kiyo Sugimoto, he pursued "Africa" which was the theme of his life.
