Born in France in 1988, Biga*Ranx turned to Jamaican sounds at a very early age. His attention is focused on the rhythms of Yellowman and DJ Screw. From the age of 14, he devoted himself entirely to music, forging his own personal style through hard work, writing and composition.
In 2008, Biga was called "Ranx" by the Jamaican singjay Joseph Cotton, and his entry into the world of reggae was consecrated. The two men posted a freestyle on the internet that proved to be a huge success with more than 2 million plays today.
After more than a 1 000 gigs in France and abroad, Biga*Ranx releases his fith studio album! With Sunset Cassette, Biga*Ranx offers a mix of styles and influences that is as unique and introspective as ever. Alone or surrounded by prestigious guests, the MC once again demonstrates the full extent of his talent and overflowing creativity.
Like on the track Hot Water, the second single of this new album, on vocals you find Jahdan Blakkamoore, top international reggae performer who has several Grammy nominations and who has worked with such names as Snoop Dogg, Major Lazer or Dj Premiere… We discover a new sound with some electronic elements and infectious melodies!
