Rita is a singer. Born in Los Angeles and have spent her youth in many countries in Asia, and current history with Las Vegas , NV in the usa. That wide diffrence is also felt in her music. She has vast knowledge of American Jazz Singers and Standards, as well as being able to sing Pop music, R&B,Smooth jazz and country"Everything except Hard Rock" She says with a laugh. Rita's voice is rich, warm and throaty, working especially well with torchy ballads, bossanova and in this album with 2 original songs by Dave Williams on Cry Anymore and By my Side. In Las Vegas she honed her talent , singing for so many years with all top musicians. Whether singing smooth jazz or the classics, she has a style all her own.
