Apparently these are the tracks Bruce left on the cutting room floor. These tracks are just as compelling as the ones on the box and in many cases are better.
There is use of Sonic Solutions on some of these tapes which give a squishy underwater sound. Some of the tapes were rejected because of degradation. The E Street Shuffle is a great example. This would have been a good inclusion but the right channel was damaged. In 2020 this could have been repaired but in 1986 the technology did not exist.
Apparently this was sourced from acetate pressed at a studio for someone to play. maybe Bruce?
