Rene Andersen ‎– Break Of Dawn (1995)

Odd René Andersen (born September 12, 1968 in Fredrikstad) is a Norwegian musician who started his career as a vocalist in the band Dream Police. But he became very famous when he released his solo albums, Break of dawn (1995) and Good company (1996) under the artist name Rene Andersen. The 1995 debut CD sold 30,000 copies in advance sales.

Andersen has participated in Ivar Dyrhaug's Beat for beat several times. He has also been a regular vocalist in Dan Børge Akerös The Great Class Party. Also has a project with Kyrre Fritzner "Everest" behind him, hence the singles "Any day now" and "Friday afternoon". He heated up for Tina Turner in Oslo Spectrum in 1996.

His backing band consisted of, among others, Rino Johannessen on bass and Ole Petter Hansen Chylie on drums. They also joined the Dream Police.

Andersen has been a choreographer for Paul McCartney during the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo Spectrum and he has been a support artist for Joe Cocker, among others.
