Here are 37 blistering tracks spanning the period 1969-87. Stylish double digipak with 20 page booklet containing previously unseen photographs by Barry Plummer plus informative track by track notes by Mojo's Chris Ingham.
The sound on this 2-CD set is very good, clean and crisp, with good tonal separation between the instruments and voice. The sound has been remastered,which gives these tracks a great deal of immediacy. The booklet has a number of photographs of the band not seen before. The discs clip in a quad-foldout cardboard package,which also has several photos of the band. The booklet has a track-by-track annotation which helps set these tracks in the SLADE discography.

Starting with "Beginnings",then on to "Play It Loud","Slade Alive!","Slayed","Old New Borrowed And Blue","Slade In Flame","Nobody's Fool",and"Whatever Happened To Slade".
