Soundscapes of magnetic power: The CD "Graphics in Music & Poetry" presents compositions that all refer to works by the artist Caspar Walter Rauh. Rauh's fantastic visual worlds are transformed through poetry and music into equally fascinating acoustic landscapes: precisely drawn by the slender flexible voice of reciter Michael Herrschel and experimentally refined string sounds produced by Lorenz Trottmann on and in the grand piano and by Gernot Hammrich on the acoustic guitar. "Graphics in Music & Poetry" offers exciting friction surfaces between image, word and music. To make the multimedia experience possible at home, all texts and all pictures are printed in the booklet to the CD.
