Annette grew up in the midst of passionate, damaged and loving mystics, poets, painters and musicians. As a small child, she fell in love with music, songs and their stories while listening for hours, hidden behind a living room chair.
Her first album, Songs from the Talking House, she sang songs of angels and demons and love and loss.
In this, her second release, Love & Fire, she continues with intimate yet universal themes of wanderlust and faith; with the shattering of youth from childhood trauma, and of how hope gets lost and found again.
The musicians on this album are all award-winning talents in their own right.
John Previti, bass
Steve Bloom, percussion and drums
Dave Hadley, pedal steel
Avril Levin, mandolin (Solid Ground & Don't Look Down)
Charle Pilzer, accordion
Jeff Karn, mandolin, harmonies (The World is on Fire)
Brian Evans, guitar, harmonica and harmonies
Marianna Previti, harmonies (Kentucky Babe - a lullaby their mother sang to them as children)
Nicole Belanus, harmonies (Highway)
Lynn Hollyfield, harmonies (Highway)
