Sweet Bourbon - Born A Rebel (2020)

Started in 2014 with a flying start and a lot of his own work, Sweet Bourbon quickly became an integral part of the Dutch club circuit.

The five years that followed were a rollercoaster ride. With a live album, a debut album, 2 singles, a number of clips and many live shows at home and abroad, Sweet Bourbon has shown that 'they're here to stay'.

With René van Onna lead vocals, Roeland van Laer bass guitar, Chris Janssen guitar, Willem van der Schoof keys (award best hammond keyboardist 2015) and from the beginning of 2018 the young Italian drummer Ruben Ramirez and the fantastic backing vocals of Suzan Wattimena, Laura van der Vange and Henny Oudesluijs, Sweet Bourbon is a feast for the ears and eyes!

In August 2017 the album 'Night Turned Into Day' was released, the new Sweet Bourbon album . The release of this album surprised everyone. Sweet Bourbon strengthened a varied number of own songs in the upper segment of the club circuit. The influences of Rock, Blues, Jazz and Soul gave the band a solid southern rock style. The many positive national and international reviews and airplay by Johan Derksen and Mart Smeets generated a lot of attention.

Placing the shows in the various international clubs remains a nice challenge every time. Over the years it has become 'natural' for Sweet Bourbon to be on the road. The inspiration and motivation that the live performances provide, Sweet Bourbon has started writing a next album again. April 2020 release.
