Isabel Fèlix - Margarida Orfila, Obra pianística (2020)

Natural from Menorca, he develops an intense activity as a pianist, fortepianist and harpsichord player in projects ranging from early to contemporary music, acting as a soloist and in ensembles such as L’OBAC, Gaudí, Artaria, BCN 216, etc. The critic highlights the great wealth of nuances, sensitivity and communication skills in their interpretations. Since 2006 she has been a full professor at the Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears. She is also co-director of Musitekton, in Barcelona.

After obtaining the Official Master's Degree in Musicology and Musical Education at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, she is currently a PhD student in Art History and Musicology, researching on the nineteenth-century composer Margarida Orfila, from whom she recently recorded the complete work for piano on a CD that was will publish in 2020.
