VA - Mexico 2020 (2020)

We released our first Mexico VA 2 years ago. We got so many great feedbacks on that compilation that it was pretty obvious we had to ensure a more than worthy successor. And finally here it is!

Since our first Mexico VA, Mexico and especially Tulum have become more and more the centre of the international electronic music scene during the month of January. On top of that the amount and quality of demos we received out of Mexico was again impressive. Our main Mexican artist Victor Ortiz aka The Note V has put a lot of effort in collecting and checking all these demos and together with our label manager Pedro Mercado they selected 14 amazing tracks.

A huge thanks also goes to Aditi who designed a special authentic Mexican artwork for our cover! Aditi was born and raised in Mexico City. She likes to create whatever is present in the moment in her heart and every day is a new inspiration for her. With happiness and gratitude she goes through this journey, expressing the beauty and magic of existence. Creating from the heart a sacred space in which she can play and celebrate the nectar of life. For this second edition of our Mexican VA, called "Mexico 2020" we asked some artists back from our first edition, such as Apo Tulup (who teams up this time with Kleinfinger), Audictive, Borjo, Noil (who teams up now with Daniel Camarillo), SMOKE G, and of course our own The Note V teaming up with Gabriel I from Tenampa Recordings. But we are also excited to add some new artists to our roster: Hot TuneiK, Misha Rufus, Gabo Zandetti and Nuke Town, Replicanth, Sergio Oyarvide, Alfonso G teaming up with Zetter who just released an EP on Chrom, Caballero and Frisek, and 2nd Skin. On top of that, The Note V will release an official mix with these 14 fantastic tracks exclusively for Spotify.
