Fujiko Shuri - Stormy Weather (2004)

Vocalist Fujiko Shuri introduced her 1st solo album, “Lua E Sol”, in 2004. The 2nd album, “Stormy Weather”, was released during the same year with her painting exhibition linked to the album. In April 2007 “Stormy Weather” ranked in at #1 for downloads in iTunes Japan.

She has performed in jazz clubs, music festivals, cafes and TV shows all over in Japan. Her style blends jazz, traditional Okinawan music and own compositions in a very original way. She has been one of the foremost unique artists of various art scenes in Okinawa and Japan.
