Why Foxes, Why? are seven spinners who recorded ten songs from the roof in the Lucerne studio during ten hours. The highlight: apart from songwriter Timo Keller, none of the musicians heard or saw any of the pieces before the recording day. According to Mastermind Keller, the motivation behind the original joke action is explained as follows: Fast work without much questioning, raw, honest, powerful. The result is «Hey! Folk of Death », a folk album named after the session of the same name, which took place in autumn 2019 and will premiere on May 1st at the Konzerthaus Schüür. Banjo madness meets mandolin madness and violin pads, Juno sounds, boom bass, slide guitars, stadium drums and a few well-known vocal cords vibrate all over the place.
