The Red Button is a hooks-driven, Los Angeles-based power pop duo featuring seasoned singer/songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Seth Swirsky and Mike Ruekberg. Swirsky cut his teeth as an in-demand songwriter, penning cuts for a wide range of artists, including Rufus Wainwright, Taylor Dayne, Al Green, and Tina Turner, while Ruekberg spent his early days performing with Minneapolis-based major-label rockers Rex Daisy and composed the soundtrack for the Adrien Brody-starring indie film Dummy. The band released its acclaimed debut album, She's About to Cross My Mind, in 2007, followed by a sophomore effort, As Far as Yesterday Goes, in 2011. In 2017, the duo issued Now It's All This!, a career-spanning retrospective that included remastered versions of their two studio LPs, along with six new tracks and unplugged renditions of four of their best-known songs.
