A wonderfully confident, laid back performance by the then 22-year-old Bonnie Raitt. The picking is great, her voice is wonderful, the musicians are top class and the whole thing has a close-up, intimate feel to it that really draws you in. Also, for a live radio recording from 1972 the sound is exceptionally good. Her cover of Stevie Winwood's Can't Find My Way Home is my personal favourite, but there isn't a bad song here.
The album is well worth buying on it own merits, but if you've followed Bonnie Raitt's career over the decades it's a brilliant, fresh insight into her beginnings.
