Octo Octa - Love Hypnosis Vol. 1 (2020)

“Love Hypnosis” is a message.

It’s a narrative meant for personal empowerment; to become the person you want to be. I’ve conducted a few “Love Hypnosis” rituals as extended six hour sets broken into three segments that signal my intentions about love, body, and spirit. For this tape series, they will be shorter missives meant to build upon one another and show a growing idea of how music can explore the magic and actualization of ourselves.

The act of DJing itself is to cast a spell. Dance music as an art form that sends an immediate direct statement into one’s body. It can shift and evolve over time to reveal information, but first it will move you. This message is meant to move you both physically and emotionally. “Love is the fire I need”. I believe it’s what we all need these days. We’re here together. Nobody can stop us now.
