The combination of Stanley Turrentine's evocative, soulful tenor sax and Les McCann's gospel-tinged piano proved a potent combination on this exciting album. This is excellent soul-jazz session with Turrentine blowing hot. Turrentine recorded scores of albums in his lifetime, but this 1962 session remains one of his best.

Recorded at the first Blue Note session of 1962, That's Where It's At is Stanley Turrentine's sixth album for the label. It features a rare collaboration between Turrentine and pianist Les McCann.
