Released only a couple years after her contribution to !K7's DJ-Kicks series, Maya Jane Coles' Fabric 75 is another set of carefully plotted and largely stripped-down house and techno. Among the notable selections are the Dense & Pika remix of Paul Woolford's "Erotic Discourse," Trus'Me's "Somebody," and the Dixon remix of Mathew Jonson's "Level 7." There's also a previously unreleased Coles production ("Premonition") and her own unobtrusive yet alluring edit of Ksky's "Madness [Volta Cab Remix]." The mix's existence is quite a feat for Coles, who danced at the London club before she became known as a DJ and producer.
