Rebecca Kontus - Flâneur (2020)

In her singing career, Rebecca has performed a variety of music from old chorales to dance club rhythms. He has been among the best at the Sony Jazz Stage international singing competition. Four records have appeared with his songs. Music critic Joosep Sang has written: "Rebecca Kontus's style is full of soul, jazz and American gospel." Her personal and dynamic performance is especially evident in jazz songs. Many of the songs in Rebecca's repertoire come from her own pen, but she also enjoys a fresh personal understanding of the standards. Regarding the creative process, Rebecca mentions: “I have cried and written and laughed and written… My songs have changed me. Every song is like a part of me, my story, the story of my peers. ”

Rebecca's debut album "Tears of Angels", released in the spring of 2008, and "Déjà Vu", which hit the record counters in the autumn of the same year, were warmly received by both listeners and critics. The third album "I Can Come" (2010) surprised with well-known and loved chorales with unique jazz interpretations. The singer's fourth album "Flâneur" (2012), youthful and positive in its main tone, tells stories about people the author meets on a walk in the city.
