Youpi Quartet - Mozaïc (2020)

A pretty-named quartet. A quartet with original lineup, flute, harmonica, bass, drums to make a fruity and lively jazz. The flute is transverse, viola or bansouri (the Indian cousin). The harmonica is chromatic, the big one with the small push button but also MiDi with multiple effects. The bass is electric and frankly groovy. The drums, a model of elegance, discreet when necessary, nervous if necessary. The dialogs between the flute and the harmonica can be tender as in Bouture, more lively with 7 Suite or full of orientalism for Turkish Coffee. The bass player can sing his electric bass, listen to Fresh French electro-funk. Before the finale, a bansouri / sanza duo of pure beauty.
