Franck Wolf - Acoustic five (2020)

The Acoustic Five consists of a saxophone, a violin, a guitar (or cello), a piano, and a double bass. It’s an acoustic jazz quintet that plays extremely lyrical and sophisticated chamber music. A fascinating and unique musical journey, which despite its "chamber" instrumentation and the absence of drums, is deeply embedded in the vocabulary of jazz, where "letting go", interaction and swing are omnipresent. An ambitious and original project, where writing and improvisation go hand in hand and give us nice surprises and a great pleasure which is distilled with delight deep within our sensitive souls.
