Nico Brina is one of Europe's top-class Boogie Woogie and Blues pianists. After more than 3'000 concerts in 19 countries and numerous awards (Prix Walo 1995, entry in the Guinness Book of Records 1996, guest performance at the Olympic Games in Athen 2004, nomination for the German Records Award 2014), Brina celebrated his 35th stage anniversary in 2019 and ended the year with a brilliant performance at an international Boogie festival in French Normandy. Now the road to success continues with his new record "Lucky Blues Travelers".
Nico Brina releases his 18th album and again he is celebrating an anniversary: the Swiss piano virtuoso has been on the road with drummers Charlie Weibel and Tobias Schramm for exactly 20 years. Reason enough to dedicate an album to these two renowned drummers. On this occasion, Brina called all his faithful backing musicians (the "Lucky Blues Travelers") into the studio and produced an album full of contrasts, which will thrill Boogie fans as well as Blues freaks and Rock'n'Roll lovers.
15 of total 20 tracks have been recorded exclusively for the production, and 5 are from previous albums.
