James Griffiths, a UK Film Composer noted for his award winning and multi nominated scores for THE DRIFT, amongst many others such as 68 Kill, a collaboration with Film Composer Frank Ilfman.
James is an artist hailing from a career as a professional musician for the Royal Family. Between 2001 and 2012 seated as Principal Saxophonist & Guitarist Band of HM Coldstream Guards, performing globally in the most prestigious of concert halls and occasions. Classical Number 1 and Classical Brit award nominated. Independently he performed as a guitarist in the Post Rock genre with Orders of The British Empire 2005-2010
Composing music for such Tv shows as MTV's Teen Mom 2 and 16 & Pregnant. Sound Design for major release movie campaigns such as Annabelle Creation. In 2014 James won Best Surprise award for his debut feature score for THE DRIFT, also nominated best Sci-Fi with soundtrack geek awards. Never looking back he continues to compose diverse genre and ensemble based music for scores in London and Los Angles with his own unique and powerful approach to music for motion picture.
