Their music is driven by guitar, banjo, upright bass, pedal steel, Hammond B3, drums, mandolin, and violin, and is influenced by rock, blues, bluegrass, folk and traditional country - primarily music from the American south and American southwest.
Joe Forkan was born in New York, grew up in Tucson, Arizona, Eric Stoner is a native Californian. They began playing music together in 2013.
They recorded their debut album, Peripheral Vision, at Wavelab Studio in Tucson, Arizona in 2016. Their 2020 releases Blue Sky Blues and Something in the Water were recorded at The Compound Studio in Long Beach, CA.
Both are also visual artists. Forkan is an exhibiting painter and Professor of Art at CSU Fullerton. Stoner is a professional photographer and teaches photography at Laguna College of Art and Design.
