Violet Spin - Face 2 Face (2018)

String quartet VIOLET SP!N skates the boundaries between contemporary music, jazz, song form and noise to create an individual sound, performing compositions written by Irene Kepl. The band features musicians who share eagerness for uncompromising groove on one hand, interest in contemporary classical music on the other hand and is the perfect vehicle to highlight the idiosyncratic improvising style. They use all the possibilities, timbres and sounds from those fields as an intrinsic element in behalf of creating the most exciting music for string quartet lovers, to play themselfs into their listeners hearts and brains and tempting their legs to start shaking.
