Atlante Sonoro - Alhambra (2006/2020)

A "red fortress" (borrowing the Arabic meaning of the palatial complex of Granada) that the Roman saxophonist and clarinetist built with patience and abundance of details. His vast harmonic vocabulary and his multiple experiences are all contained in this eloquent work. To share the elegant chest, there are Pietro Lussu on the piano which confirms his taste for a lyricism never circumscribed and a superfine technique, Marco Loddo on the double bass, with a remarkable cavata and a wide sound spectrum, Luca Caponi on drums, always politely pressing and the presence of the refined Swedish guitarist Lutte Berg in Maldafrica and Piccolo Tango.
