In today’s world of electronic music where programmed drum loops and auto-tuned vocals reign, Lindsey Webster is a breath of fresh air. A refreshing take on R&B with a soulful presence; Lindsey’s vocals compare to the likes of R&B queens Sade, Mariah Carey and Anita Baker. But it doesn't end there- Lindsey's stellar voice is backed with lush chords and a tight pocket played by a world-class band of musicians lending it's sound to the genre of Soul R&B.

Making strides in her hometown of Woodstock, NY, located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, Lindsey has performed and perfected her craft with some of the best musicians the area has to offer. In a recent show at Levon Helm's Barn (where so many of the famous Midnight Rambles were held) Lindsey performed at Amy Helm's "Oh To Be Home Again" show with music notables Donald Fagen (Steely Dan), Amy Helm, & Elizabeth Mitchell among an even larger stellar lineup.

Lindsey was also featured in the 'Ladies of the Valley' concert held in November at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, NY. The concert was a benefit for the Walk-In and Crisis Center at the Family of Woodstock. The Ladies performed two songs each for a packed house. For the finale, all those featured took the stage to perform Natalie Merchant's "Kind and Generous" when Merchant appeared on stage to end the show with a bang.

With one record down and the anticipation of the release of "You Change", Lindsey is more focused now than ever and is ready to make an even bigger name for herself as a recording artist and writer:

“The material we’ve written for our new record is a graduated form of writing for me. I learned a lot from making my first one, and I’m sure I’ll learn even more from this process for projects to follow. Things are always evolving and growing. Making records is one of the biggest examples of how much things evolve; that’s part of the reason we decided to call it “You Change”-it’s the title of one of my favorite songs from the CD and it just fit this one so well.”

Keep your eye out for shows over the winter; Lindsey’s set to appear all over the Hudson Valley to NYC and beyond. Check the Shows page for details.
