Lincoln Layne is a blues/rock outfit out of Murfreesboro, TN. The new album, Kill Your Darlings, is a collaboration of many different influences in rock, pop, soul, country and a sprinkle of gospel. The band has been touring since 2013 playing numerous venues across the Mid-South. Playing breweries in Nashville, clubs in their home city of the 'Boro and charity events supporting literacy, domestic abuse victims and animal rights, Lincoln Layne has been hard at work spreading the love and music of the Roots Rock.

Amber Layne Johnson started songwriting in Luxora, Arkansas at the age of 13. She has aspired to write in the vein of Carole King with an emphasis on personal experiences and what keeps her rooted in her past and present. Memphis being only a crow's flight away, Amber drew even more from the deep well of talent in Bluff City. Her style is roots, country, blues, indie rock and gospel all rolled into a freckled-faced beacon of beauty and vulnerability.

Aaron Belknap is the bassist and sometimes lyricist of Lincoln Layne. Belonging to several different bands from the age of 16, Aaron toed the line of styles ranging from Punk, Alt-Rock, Industrial, Electronic and Classic Rock. He lays down the grooviest of grooves and has been a driving constant in the bands songs and shows...as every bassist should. And lest we forget, he is a snappy dresser the likes of a Dicken's character and Bram Stoker would be proud.

Jeremy Sargent is the drummer and background vocalist for Lincoln Layne. He has contributed to a few songs on this album and he contributes much needed rhythm and comedy for the band and the crowd. You;ll usually find him behind a set of Pearl Drums sporting a hockey jersey. His influences include Tim "Herb" Alexander, Lars Ulrich and Danny Carey. His hard driving attack of the skins brings the edge and soul that many of Lincoln Layne's songs are rooted. JLA
