"The term 'Self-Identity' was originally described to me as "The recognition of one's potential and qualities as an individual". The creation of this album began as a quest to discover the different of myself that make me who I am, and my developing identity as a musician. Rather than the discovery of an answer to that question however, this album instead became a document of the first step of that journey, and one that I hope continues to intrigue and define me. The wonderfully surprising places this music took me to whilst writing and creating it have led me to new musical worlds and exciting challenges, and have unleashed a new sense of musical-freedom that is continuing to inspire me."
