Genius Celtes' fresh music is fully open. A number of valuable recordings that have been rediscovered in recent years.
Revive with new high-bit mastering from the original master tape!
Genius conductor Kertesz (1929-1973), who died unfortunately at the age of 43, has compiled a collection of Beethoven works left on Eurodisk. In recent years, original master tapes have been discovered, and those that have received high acclaim for both performance and recording have been converted to SACD. Enjoy amazing high quality sound with the latest high bit mastering from your home country original analog master tape. The CD layer has also been newly mastered for this release. Symphony and overture have been previously released on SACD single layer, but Piano Concerto No. 3 with Hansen is the first SACD. Furthermore, new high-bit mastering has been performed for this release, so both the SACD layer and the CD layer are the latest mastering. In respect of sound policy, we respected the original master. Although there are other Mozart and Haydn co-stars with Kertesz and Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, these Beethoven works are surprisingly incredibly incredible when played at the time of recording at the age of 30 or so. On the other hand, the selection of the symphony was quite difficult, even though it was the beginning of recording, and the sound quality before the original master tape was discovered a few years ago was not very good, so it was not necessarily a well-established sound source. However, it is well known that the evaluation of these sound sources has rapidly increased since their reappearance with amazing sound quality. In the performance, sincere and solid commanding that can be said to be the special note of Kertesz appears everywhere, along with the wonderful performance of Bamberg sound and the excellent recording of Eurodisk at that time, now along with the new world with VPO of DECCA, It became one of the representatives of Celtes recording. In this reprint, we collected all Beethoven recordings of Kertesz & Bamberg Symphony on Eurodisk, including the piano concerto No. 3 which was added for the first time as an SACD. Soloist Hansen is a German pianist and is also best known for his Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 4 with Furtwangler & BPO in 1943. The dignified and dignified performance is attractive even now, and the swaying Beethoven performance may sound lost now. The recordings by Eurodisc have been outstanding since then, with excellent engineers and recording techniques. As a result of careful rehearsals and neat work, you can still enjoy the wonderful performance of today and the excellence of its recording. In particular, the discovery of the "genuine" original master tape from Germany, which was recently discovered, has brought back amazing sound quality. Its clarity and high density were phenomenal even on CDs. In this re-release, new and up-to-date mastering has been performed, including those that were not previously SACDs, so the whole picture will be revealed at last. With SACD, you can play without exceptional high sound quality.
