Robinson Khoury - Frame of Mind (2019)

Robinson Khoury is a young trombone virtuoso, he is only 24 years old and multiplies the experiences within prestigious orchestras, while collaborating regularly with musicians of high flight. Of great musical maturity for his age, Robinson Khoury decided at the end of 2019 to publish his first record as a leader by writing himself almost all the repertoire (with the exception of two titles).
For this project entitled "Frame Of Mind" (which could be translated by "state of mind"), he forms a quartet surrounded by his close guard, musicians of his generation which he is very close: pianist Mark Priore (who brings to the project one of his compositions: Lately Still Blues) and contrabassist Etienne Renard (who is one of the few musicians, with Robinson, to play on all titles!).
