Jeff Leonard - Saturday's for the Boys (2019)

Jeff Leonard was born and raised in rural Franklin County, North Carolina. Like many artists, Jeff began singing at an early age within his church and for his school choir. Growing up, he was influenced by many genres of music from rock, gospel, country, R&B, southern rock, blues and soul. He is an award winning AFRTS disc jockey and a veteran of the US Navy. While attending East Carolina University, he was also a disc jockey for the Texas Two Step in Greenville, NC. Eventually, Jeff moved to Raleigh, NC to work as a disc jockey at the world-renown Longbranch Saloon.

Soon, Jeff's love for music and his life experiences would come to fruition when he decided to form his own band, Southbound 85, in July 2007. Southbound 85 became one of the best country/southern rock bands in North Carolina, performing for various festivals and venues up and down the east coast. Over 10 years later, after being awarded "Best Country Band in North Carolina" at the Carolina Music Awards, Jeff decided that it was time to fold the band and focus on his family and his songwriting.

Jeff Leonard released his self-titled debut album in December 2016 and followed that up by releasing his second album, "Take Me Home" in May 2018. His third album "Saturday's For The Boys" is being released late 2019 and he is currently writing additional material for future projects.
