Keysound Recordings are proud to present ?Space Between Stars,? the debut album from London based producer LyeForm. Through glacial synths and bedrock bass music foundations, he's built an electronic exploration of wonder; of the dreams he has awake, asleep and the space somewhere in between. From the track names alone ?Waking Life? to ?Distant Shores?, from ?Ruins? into ?A New Uprising,? and into the ?Space Between Stars?, LyeForm is allowing himself to lucid dream and somehow capture the feeling in sound. As dreams often can be, the initial touchpoints for the tracks don't make sense: a Richard Linklaker film, Blind Willie Johnson & a gold record included on Voyager now over 12 billion miles away from earth, cats that are both alive and dead at once, the F-117A Nighthawk stealth fighter jet, the preposterous notion of travelling between stars but the fact that people keep dreaming about doing it. Survival and what comes after that, if anything. The end of something that wasn't working, and moving on. ?I have had two repetitive dreams my whole life?? adds LyeForm, without volunteering a whole lot more detail. ?The epiphany for this album came earlier this year,? explains label co-founder Blackdown. ?I was abroad, driving down a winding mountain road in clear, bright sunshine listening to what would be the final tracklist, and sweeping around turns I found I could look eye to eye across the valley straight into glaciers. I just really felt this sense of epic grandeur LyeForm is trying to evoke,? explains Keysound co-founder Blackdown. ?I know it's been a kinda awful few years for people especially if you follow news cycles, but that moment reminded me that there is wonder in this world, and 'Space Between Stars' is trying to share a little moment of that feeling with everyone.?
