Daniel Örtegren Desai - Memento Vivere (2019)

Kristoffer is a drummer based in Malmö since 2009. Kristoffer is known for a broad and open approach to music whose playing is strongly based on a deep sound and groove wich is moving between the American jazz tradition and the Nordic jazz heritage.
Kristoffer grew up in the small village Borgstena outside of Borås and started to play drums at an early age listening to all kind of music he could find. In 2007 Kristoffer moved to Skurup in the south of sweden to study jazz music at Skurups Folkhögskola and later on at the Music academy of Malmö where he graduated in 2012. Since then Kristoffer has been working as an full-time musician and has been seen on many of the big scenes and festivals around Europe. 2015 Kristoffer received Malmö City Culture Scholarship.
