Tulio is an award winning film and television composer, classically trained musician and orchestra conductor as well as a founding member of “El Sistema” of youth orchestras of Venezuela. He is a recording artist, songwriter and producer with over 35 years of experience in original music for films, television, advertising, records and musical theater. As a classical musician he holds the position of Principal Timpanist with Miami Symphony Orchestra since 2008 as well as Composer In Residence with the orchestra since 2014.
Tulio is an active orchestral composer and his commissioned work “Echoes” was recently world-premiered by MISO, conducted by Maestro Eduardo Marturet. His most recent composition is the “Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra” to be performed by himself as guitar soloist.
As a recording artist Tulio recently released his debut solo guitar album “Momentum” to critical acclaim and statements such as: “When you think you have heard it all, Tulio Cremisini comes with a fresh approach in writing for the guitar which can only be produced by the unique hands of a real master” E. Tulio won the 2012 Trieste Film Festival “Best Film Score” for the film “Cenizas Eternas” as well as the 2012 ASCAP Film and Television Music Award and three other ASCAP awards for his music for NBC/Universal/ Telemundo’s National TV series. He also won the 2010 Latin Grammy with Ilan Chester as recording engineer and arranger for “Tesoros de la Musica Venezolana.”. In addition he is the Music Director, Orchestrator and Producer for Ilan’s “Symphony of the Soul”.
Tulio worked as producer/songwriter or arranger for 7 Latin Grammy winners or nominees: Luis Fonsi, Ana Barbara, Nestor Torres, Grupo Mania, Conjunto Primavera, Jennifer Pena, and Claudio Corsi.
Feature film credits include “Los pajaros se van con la muerte” by director Thaelman Urgelles (2011 premiere), “Cenizas Eternas” by screewriter/director Margarita Cadenas (premiere 2011), “Lenny the wonder dog” from producer Scott Rosenfelt (Home Alone) and “La hora del tigre” by director Alfredo Lugo.
TV credits include his original music and songs for the suspense thriller series “Alguien te mira” and “La casa de al lado” for NBC/Universal/Telemundo. Other TV credits include “Go, Diego Go” for MTV/Nickelodeon/Nick Jr. and “Romeo y Julieta”(Main title)(Canal 9 Argentina).
