HATCHETMEN are a 3-piece rock band from SE Michigan north of Detroit. Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter Dick Lonczynski, Drummer/Vocalist Randy Dunn & Bassist Reg Nicholas have, after over a year of playing the material live, released this debut offering "JUDGE & JURY". Recorded by local legend "Motor City" Josh Ford at his Sound Shop Studios and produced, mixed and mastered by live sound guru Peter Jay at Peter Jay Audio, "JUDGE & JURY" is eleven tracks that will allow the listener to live the Detroit experience. From being happily laid-off of work to the joys of collecting unemployment.... from the tribulations of getting to your "place up north" to the heartbreak and confusion of foreclosure.... all presented in a hard rockin' style sure to have you humming along unknowingly for days (...maybe weeks!). Long story short, we've tried as hard as we could to take themes that actually mean something to us and present them in a form that always looks for the silver lining. Do you like Neil Young? Gov't Mule? ZZ Top? Give us a try.....
