4YX is the debut album of minimalist producer Dub Mentor.
Comprised of his recent EPs plus new tracks, the album features Anna Domino, Stephen Mallinder (Cabaret Voltaire), Geva Alon, Tal Weiss, Karni Postel, Chinese artists Yan Jun and Yao Xu among others.
Acoustic loops, multi-layered drum patterns, deep bass lines, field recordings, spoken word pieces, classically trained and ethnic musicians, vintage studio equipment, covers and Chinese poetry amalgamate into this long awaited album by the man behind the EnT-T label (often referred to as "the ECM of alternative music”).
