Dan Chadburn - Love Themes for Solo Piano (2019)

Dan Chadburn's latest album, "Love Themes for Solo Piano," is an expressive collection which explores and affirms the beautiful gift of love. Recorded at Joe Bongiorno's Piano Haven Studio in Sedona, AZ in June, 2019, several of its tracks, including "Starlit Waltz," "Cherished," "Stillness," "Grounded," "Stars Above Sedona," and "Shalom," were extemporaneously composed and recorded directly onto the album. Other tracks, including "Gentle Touch," "Newborn Joy," "Reminisce," and "Grateful," were improvisations previously created in concert settings, subsequently transcribed onto sheet music, and then -- with the use of the music -- played again in the studio for the recording. The three remaining tracks on the album, "Timeless," "Longing," and "Unconditional," were not improvisations but rather traditionally composed prior to recording.​
