Johanna Gossner, a young clarinetist from Westendorf, and Damian Keller, her duo partner (accordion) will not only present their new programme “Danse Macabre” on November 2nd in Hopfgarten but also their first CD together.
Be it classical, modern or folk music – dances can be found anywhere, influenced by different genres and cultures. Johanna and Damian have created an exciting programme featuring dances from all over the world and from different eras including Stravinsky’s tango, Dvorak’s Slavic dances, Yiddish, Oriental and Spanish dances and ,of course, Camille Saint-Saens’ “Danse macabre” which the programme was named after. And there will be more to enjoy: Bela Bartok’s Romanian dances, compositions by Herbert Pixner, chansons and much more---- First performance in Tyrol!
Since 2015, Johanna Gossner has been studying at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna where she met the accordionist Damian Keller with whom she founded the duo Minerva in 2016 – a modern, versatile and committed classical duo which has received awards at several international competitions.
