Dana - My Time (2019)

Irish pop icon Dana releases her new album My Time on FOD Records on November 1st.The former Eurovision winner topped the UK charts and charts in Australia, Austria, Germany, Israel, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland and Yugoslavia for several weeks in 1970 with All Kinds Of Everything, a record which went on to sell two million copies and My Time is Danas first new album for seven years. It features freshly penned tunes by UK indie-pop act The Rua (who are making huge waves in the US) and Dana herself but the album is also notable for the unusual, unexpected array of cover versions hidden amongst its midst, including Danas interpretations of fellow Irish compatriots Ashs Shining Light, Roxy Musics Just Like You and I Will Never Let You Know, a song originally performed by Gunnar Scott and Scarlett OConnor in the Season 3 finale of the acclaimed TV show, Nashville. The first two singles to be lifted from the album will be Falling and Isnt It Strange, both written by The Ruas Jonathan Brown.
