Borka Balogh - Borka Balogh (2019)

Unlike her EP from 2018, Borka Balogh now manifests itself as a band. In that composition work was done on the debut album, which was recently released. Borka Balogh is a self-managed release.

Borka Balogh and her companions have placed ten songs on the disc. The dark side of the indie rock is leading here. The fact that Borka Balogh approaches the music in its own unique way is immediately apparent in opener "Gone". It is as if Björk set to work together with The Cure and The Cranberries. The former also comes to the fore during the babbling start of "Nostalgia." Despite the other sounds present, it is the voice that captivates there. Exactly as with Björk.

Borka Balogh profiles itself as an independent, independent woman. In that respect she gives a strong signal with the fact that after love was extinguished she managed to find her own path here in the Netherlands. The music is not only dark in nature on Borka Balogh. Hope also resounds in the music of this musician. "Trust Me", in which her vocals really come into their own, shows that well. There are more moments like that on this first full-length version of her.

She describes it nicely: "I am an emotion junkie and therefore created a world where I can face the full spectrum of all my emotions. Through my music I want to share this world with everyone who needs it. "And we succeeded.
