Joe Farace, guitarist of the group, confirmed in an interview that the name of the band was because it was a very popular type of LSD in those times.

The group began its journey in 1968, came from Baltimore and for some years were performing in the area of Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Washington DC, in 1972 they manage to record their first album, "Wedge", a very small print run of 500 copies . Two years later the second one would arrive, "No One Left But Me". In 75 Joe Farace, guitar, leaves the band and in 78 they dissolved.

We could define the group's music as a soft psychedelic hard rock. His first theme, "S.P." shows us a good guitar riff that gradually dilutes. In "Hungary Man", one of the best tracks of the recording, we have the best guitarist developments. The Greg Coulson voice does not quite fit me, maybe it's a bit soft for the genre. "Dream" is a delicate instrumental and in "Whiski & Gin" we can find certain blues roots. The album ends with "The Gate", the longest track of the recording (10:21). In short, an acceptably good record.
